As a kid, my internal dialogue regularly involved narrated descriptions of events as they unfolded in real time. This was in conscious preparation for my dream career as an author, along with the world-class memoir detailing the life of adventure that I would seek once I escaped rural Nebraska. 

 The memoir is forthcoming (check back in a few decades) but in the meantime I'm living the thrilling life of a freelance journalist and have over eight years of experience in communications, copywriting, and editing.
